此事美媒時評有不同意見，死撐到底者說：怕出錯而假唱是好事，是對重要儀式的尊重！
此事令人想起我國京奧的所謂假唱事件──中國人，醒醒吧！不要再相信持雙重標準、並把事理簡單化的外國媒體，以及滿口普世價值、整天絞盡腦汁要矮化中國人的公知或傳媒人。要批要撐，他們總找到理由。
即使當年，事實上有更嚴重的2000年澳洲悉尼奧運「假奏」事件（離譜到用競爭對手樂團的演奏版本為自己「配音」）在先。然而，悉尼的「假奏」，國際社會多年來「視而不見」。至於中國公知及傳媒人，有沒有悉尼假奏不影響他們的取態：他們就是只狠批京奧。
「不同的，中國的假就是假……」，死命「抽絲剝繭、找角度」把京奧幕後代唱上升為「民族恥辱」。注意，此次Beyonce及樂隊並非主動開誠報公，是被動揭發。有說Beyonce只是「唇唱（咪咀）」，不是「假」──由他吧！要撐，總找到原因（咪咀錄音也者，是可於錄音室調音色；跟Beyonce當天現場「無懈可擊的原唱」不同意義）。同理，要硬踩中國人，也總會挑到骨頭。總之，中國人，醒醒吧！事之對錯輕重，要培養獨立思考，自行判斷。
